TasFoods and The Udder Way announce Tasmania distribution partnership

Tasmanian-based production company TasFoods (ASX:TFL) has signed an agreement to partner with The Udder Way to sell and distribute milk within Tasmania, Australia.

The company says this partnership has been signed in accordance with its strategic reset, and will help to solidify its ‘Fortress Tasmania’ pillar of growth as it maintains its focus on its ‘home-grown’ advantage.

TasFoods notes that it plans to leverage its ‘excellent’ customer relationships, strong logistics network, and improved capability in order to bring this Tasmanian innovation to more customers and consumers.

Speaking on the partnership, TasFoods Chief Executive Officer Scott Hadley said: “We are extremely proud to be partnering with The Udder Way. Leveraging our outstanding customer relationships and inherent distribution strength we can help grow the usage of this innovative system to ensure our customers operate more efficiently and have a positive impact on the planet. We have received strong feedback from our customers that they welcome our partnership with The Udder Way and we look forward to accelerated growth in the usage of this system in the years ahead.”

The Udder Way Founder and Managing Director Ed Crick added: “Our mission is to eliminate single use plastics globally and this partnership with TasFoods is the next phase of helping us achieve this goal. In addition, as of 2:30pm TasFoods’ share price had increased by 20.68%.
